Justin Hillier
Justin is an incredible project manager, his over 18 years in the industry and experience as a journeyman carpenter have prepared him for the multi faceted task of coordinating multiple large projects and delivering outstanding results. When Justin & Richard began Newground Construction together in () Justin never wanted to loose the one on one interaction with clients- he remains very involved. His problem solving skills are unmatched, he often catches potential issues before they arise and is the reason why he enjoys collaborating with site supervisors to coordinate all projects.

Kenny Barry
Kenny’s over 15 years experience as a journeyman carpenter are obvious when his tradesperson skills are required. Property owners appreciate Kenny’s insightfulness problem solving skills and cost-effective mindset to their project from new home construction, to residential or commercial renovation work and everything in between. Kenny has been an integral part of Newground Group for over 5 years as site supervisor, clients appreciate his hands on approach.

Ryan Jestican
Ryans over 18 years experience as a journeyman carpenter largely contributes to making him an excellent site supervisor. Being part of Newground for over four years, he has experience in several construction environments ranging from new homes, to industrial construction and several renovations in between. Clients appreciate Ryan for his ability to remain on schedule and budget while communicating the construction process to the client so they know what to expect.

Andrew Collett
Adam has been working with Newground Construction for over 4 years,
and is a journeyman carpenter. His over 20 years of experience in new home construction, residential renovations, and industrial construction is an asset to our team. He is extremely knowledgable, and we are happy to have him as our framing lead hand.
Third Year Apprentice Carpenter
Adam Pedigrew
Adams 10 years of experience is evident on job sites. He has seen a large variety of projects - both commercial and residential new builds and renovations. Since joining Newground three years ago he has developed many skills and is now a third year apprentice carpenter.
Second Year Apprentice Carpenter
Sam Linegar
Sam has been a part of Newground for over a year, but is an extremely motivated second year apprentice carpenter. His experience in both new home construction, and residential renovation, and is a very quick study of new skills.

In John’s 4 years with Newground he has always come to work with a positive attitude. Not only is he a well rounded carpenters helper, but he is also incredibly skilled with plastering and painting.

Moving from Ukraine to St. John’s in 2022, Vasil joined the NewGround Group shortly after. He is quickly becoming proficient in English and the NL construction process.

Moving from Ukraine to St. John’s in August of 2022, Mariana joined the NewGround Group shortly after. Mariana is fluent in three different languages including English. Her impeccable organization skill
and industrious work ethic ensure our office runs proficiently.
